Specify, Equip and Deploy Your Custom Fit EMR.
You can specify any of 45 practice specialties, require currently certified by CCHIT, specifying any of 600 criteria, include any of the 186 PQRI Quality Measures, ARRA Meaningful Use criteria, e-Prescribing, and Interoperability. Everything you need to select an EMR is located here!

The MSP EHR Selector™ allows you to thoroughly explore EMR functionality for all developers prior to disruptive, live office demonstrations. We suggest all users enter and submit their criteria separately to view which EMR developers meet all their office needs. Its easy to store a profile of any feature set with the MSP EHR Selector™. This feature means users are able to run various scenarios of current and future needs, such as comparing in-office versus web-deployed EMR approaches for example.

Whether you are a novice user, an experienced user, or even an EMR Consultant, three different user interfaces streamline operation. Best of all, using this site will NOT reveal any personal information to EMR developers, triggering annoying and disruptive sales calls (a common occurrence at other EMR selection sites).

  • Ordered Sections allow expert or novice users to assert EMR criteria in a step-by-step sequence.
  • Pre-defined Functional Profiles help novice users to quickly assert basic EMR functionality without plodding throughall 600+ criteria.
  • Search & Assert Functionality is a new feature that allows a user to instantly assert any criteria based on keywords or topical search terms, like 'medications'.

Learn critical differences in each vendor's functionality -
Check EMR developers 3-at-a-time and IMMEDIATELY review side-by-side feature comparisons.

Let's consider the filter, 'Supports e-Prescription?' for a moment. In order for it to be an effective filter, the question cannot simply be, "Does an EMR have it, or not?" What happened to including the associated sub-features? Other sites don't drill down this deeply. But this site does. With the MSP EHR Selector™ you can independently specify an 'e-Prescription' to include:

  • Industry-standard or proprietary drug database;
  • Loading of patient formulary from payer?
  • Loading of patient's refill history from patient pharmacies?
  • Checking of Rx against other drugs - both prescribed and over-the-counter, foods, and allergies?
  • Electronic transmission of Rx to pharmacy? of the patient's choice.

When critical details such as these are missing, 'Supports e-Prescription?' is a worthless filter because you won't know if an EMR selected meets ARRA's 'Meaningful Use' criteria! At MSP's ESP™ (EHR Selector Portal) simply select the Meaningful Use (MU) Profile and assert every MU criteria in just 2 mouse clicks! MSP's ESP™ highlights the vast differences in EMR products' 'e-Pharmacy' and other crucial functionalities. Other sites with 1-pass 'filters' may seem simple, but they don't ask users to input key requirements. How useful can the actual information be?

User-specific EMR needs must be defined at a much deeper level. MSP's ESP™ enables users to easily compare all vendors' abilities to match any combination of 600+ EMR product attributes, on an attribute-by-attribute basis. MSP offers the only true, transparent, non-vendor-tainted, EHR selector on the Internet.

After you decide on the developers that meet your needs, EMR product information requests & demos are accessible by clicking on the vendor specific DEMO or SEND INFORMATION buttons. You maintain total control of when (or if) an EMR developer(s) learn of your interest!
